  We have just got back from a long weekend. After recently having stayed at a couple of very disappointing camp sites, we really struggled with choosing our next stay. We really shouldn't of been worried, as this site was just what camping should be. Reasonable prices, great clean facilities, beautifully maintained grounds and wonderful welcoming staff! We took our kayak with us and to launch was about 150m walk to the beautiful Bala lake. There were 4 showers (ladies) which were free and clean with plenty of hooks to hang your clothes. 4 private sink cubicles. 3 wash up sinks which were undercover. All with hot water and free. The shop was well stocked with a lot of 'happy shopper' products with the prices already on them, so you know you're not being ripped off as with a lot of other camp shops. Another plus was you can order meat via a form in reception from a local butcher who delivers the same evening (as long as you order before 3). All in all, a wonderful site with the lake on your doorstep and Bala town 15 min walk away! Fab!
